UNITED NATIONS (AP) — Russia and China have vetoed a U.N. Security Council resolution referring the Syrian crisis to the International Criminal Court for investigation of possible war crimes.
This is the fourth time the countries have used their veto power as permanent council members to deflect action against the government of President Bashar Assad.
Dozens of countries signed on to support the French-drafted resolution in a dramatic move to demand a path to justice in the conflict, which has entered its fourth year.
The resolution would have referred Syria's crisis to the world's permanent war crimes tribunal without targeting either the government or the opposition.
Before the vote, U.N. Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson pleaded with council members to find unity and "put an end to this long nightmare."
COMMENT:
The World Community of Nations wants to see a tangible action to be taken to punish the people who have been killing own citizen merciless with the help of super powers using VETO powers to continue killing innocent Syrians. Are they not abetters of the committal of genocide by ASSAD?
The World Community of Nations wants to know from the two super powers using veto  power, if it is more important kill innocents than to save the lives of millions of innocents being killed every month. If it is that important to kill then why not kill the entire population except those whom they want should be kept alive.
If it  not possible to do anything to stop this killing by Assad then what is the use  of  further pursuing the matter.

UN needs reorganization to make it effective capable to produce results to save human beings lives  as per rules, regulations and International laws otherwise the Russian would kill and or help kill the entire World Community of Nations and let them live and enjoy the world and all its wealth.
