To simplify and shorten a long story the fact is the job of the military is not to share power in civil administration under democratic system.
But because Israel wanted it the Egypt's Israel military slaves tried to create situation to take over and serve Israel on payment as Mubarak used to. It is as simple as that.
But the endeavor to do that failed so far. who knows what is next coming up
