Redefining poverty - Inside Story - Al Jazeera English

Redefining poverty - Inside Story - Al Jazeera English

Before dealing with the subject under consideration in brief, we need to go through a short tale of courtesy. In a country, the host offers a piece of biscuit and asks the guest, 'You must have the full of it or else I will mind'.

Now, coming back to the subject, India redefining poverty will mean to reduce to half what ever they are having access to at present will be considered as below poverty line and the rest above that will be above poverty line. A clever way to expose the problem solved

Is it so simple, could it be possible to define poverty by any such means or is there any means to define poverty other than offering each individual three square meal, housing facilities, clean fresh water to drink, and security. No! There is no other definition than the absence of the minimum access to the above-mentioned three essential items.

India has a problem that is it being an expert country is also expert in hiding the truth in every step of its dealings in every sphere of an Indians daily life. The individual from bottom to top practiced this and ultimately suffering from the inability to deal with any problem when suddenly all problems erupted at a time that is obviously impossible to handle by the Indian government.

In recent years, Rahul Ghandhi MP visited the neighboring country Bangladesh to see how the Poverty Elevation of Dr. Yunus the noble prizewinner laureate's principle is working.

He was amazed and he left fully satisfied. However, the implementation in India is unknown because of only one fact --Corruption. It is understood that poverty in India would not be solved in one day but where is the effort to try to solve it. It is reported that due to corruption the government is inept even to try to fully implement the system of poverty elevation because of corruption.
